The Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas, and despite the weather, Addicted To Gardening was as busy as ever,
The stockings were all hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that flower bulbs soon would be there,
Some members were sleeping, and some were outside, because Addicted To Gardening's reach is worldwide,
As me, in my jammies, and of course my headband, had just settled down with a drink in both hands,
When out in the yard, I heard such a sound, I knew a rock stack must have fallen down,
Outside I flew in such a flash, without enough clothes in the snow I did dash,
The cold was intense, the wind, it did blow, I knew before long I'd have frostbitten toes,
Then what to my wondering eyes did appear, but ole' St. Nick and all his reindeer,
He was, of course, out making his rounds, to bring all garden lovers plants for their grounds,
He asked me, "what can I do for you? maybe more Daffodils, a Hosta or two",
I told him, "Old son, I think I'm good, just take care of my members if you would",
He said, "then it's good that I brought a plenty, that's a mighty tall order to visit so many",
The rest of my bottle, I tucked in his sleigh, to help him stay warm as he went on his way,
He thanked me profusely and gave me a wink, as he bounded away as quick as a blink,
"I'll visit all your members, that's what I'll do, because Addicted To Gardening is my favorite group too",
I yelled out," Santa, you're a heck of a guy", and I heard him laugh as away he did fly,
Then he turned and exclaimed as he flew out of sight, "Garden On everybody, and to all a Good Night"!
Merry Christmas Everyone!
